my friend valeria made this fantastic tuna patè for our halloween party. it's really delicious and extremely delicate. it's perfect for a party or as a qucik snack when you are not in a mood for cooking. the best way to serve it is to spread it on toasts or crackers. valeria uses for this recipe mascarpone cheese but you can change it with a similar (and maybe less fat ;) creamy cheese.
you will need:
- 100g (3,5 oz.) of tuna fish (tin tuna in oil)
- 100g (3,5 oz.) of mascarpone cheese (or similar creamy cheese)
- toasted slices of bread or crackers
drip well the tuna and mince it with a blender. add the cheese and mix well until the patè becomes homogeneous. spread on hot toasted bread or on crackers. that's all? yes, your toasts with tuna patè are ready to eat now!
