choco cookies


these are hard times in the office... and hard times for my blog... the worst thing is that i can't follow your blogs... hopefully it should change in a couple of weeks... to make the life a bit sweeter to me and my colleagues i prepared these lovely chocolate cookies for the office. easy and quick to prepare it was the best (and the yummiest!) choice!

questi sono tempi duri inufficio... e tempi duri per il mio blog... la cosa peggiore è che non riesco a seguire i vostri blog... per fortuna le cose doverebbero migliorare entro due settimane... per renedere la vita un po' più dolce (per me e per i mie colleghi) ho preparato questi belissimi biscotti al cioccolato per il mio ufficio. facili e veloci da preparare sono stati la migliore (e la più buona!) scelta!

te dni sa u nas w biurze bardzo ciezkie... sa ciezkie rowniez dla mojego bloga... najgorsze jednak jest to, ze nie mam czasu zeby zagladac na wasze blogi... na szczescie sytuacja powinna sie poprawic w ciagu najblizszych dwoch tygodni... zeby oslodzic troche te dni sobie i kolegom z pracy upieklam te wspaniale ciaseczka czekoladowe dla mojego biura. latwe i szybkie do przygotowania okazaly sie najlepszym (i najsmaczniejszym!) wyborem!


you will need, vi servirà, bedziecie potrzebowac:

- 200g (7 oz.) of dark good quality chocolate, di cioccolato fondente di qualità, gorzkiej czekolady wysokiej jakosci
- 350g (12 oz.) of butter, burro, masla
- 2 eggs, uova, jajka
- 250g (1 cup) of sugar, zucchero, cukru
- 250 g (1 cup) of flour, farina, maki
- vanilla extract, estratto di vaniglia, aromat waniliowy
- 1 tablespoon of baking soda, cucchiaio di lievito, lyzka sody oczyszczonej
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt, cucchiaino di sale, lyczeczki soli
- icing sugar, zucchero a velo, cukier puder

melt the chocolate with butter on a small fire. take away from fire and add eggs, sugar, vanilla. mix quickly with the electric mixer. add flour, baking soda and salt and mix quickly. leave for about 2 hours. preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F). make small balls and rolll each one in the icing sugar. put on the baking paper (leaving some distance between the balls) and bake for 15 up to 20 minutes.

sciogliere il cioccolato con il burro su un fuoco moderato. togliere dal fuoco e aggiungere uova, zucchero ed estratto di vaniglia. mescolare velocemente con il mixer elettrico. aggiungere farina, lievito e sale e mescolare velocemente. lasciar riposare per ca. 2 ore. preriscaldare il forno a 150°C (300°F). fare delle piccole palline e rotolarle tutte nel zucchero a velo. disporre sulla carta da forno (mantenendo la distanza). infornare per 15 - 20 minuti.

stopic maslo z czekolada na malym ogniu. zdjac z ognia i dodac jajka, cukier i aromat waniliowy. wymieszac szybko mikserem. dodac make, sode i sol i wymieszac szybko (nie za dlugo). odstawic na ok. 2 godziny. rozgrzac piec do 150°C (300°F). uformowac male kulki i obtoczyc kazda z nich w cukrze pudrze. rozlozych na papierze do pieczenia (zachowujac odleglosci). piec przez 15 - 20 minut.
koledzy beda wam wdzieczni!

Can you please clarify these two entries: is icing sugar the same thing as Confectioners sugar and when you say to let the dough sit for 2 hrs, is that at room temp or chilled in the refrigerator?
