happy new year and my mom's meringue cake

to start well the new year it would be nice to have a piece of cake, don't you think? what about meringue and cream cake? my mom made it for the new year's eve and it was simply delicious! she used meringues from the pastry shop (i advice you to do the same - home made meringues are not the easiest thing to bake).

per iniziare bene l'anno nuovo che ne dite di mangiare un pezzo di torta? che ne dite della trorta di meringe e panna? mia mamma l'ha fatta per il capodanno ed era semplicemente buonissima! ha usato le meringhe pronte dalla pasticceria (vi consiglierei di fare lo stesso - le meringhe fatte in casa non sono la cosa più facile).

you will need, vi servirà, bedziecie potrzebowac:

- 2 or 3 meringue rings for cakes, ripiani di torta di meringhe, krazki bezowe
- 500 ml (2 cups) of cream, panna, smietany
- 200g (3/4 cup) of sugar, zucchero, cukru
- 5 fresh or syrup peaches, pesche fresche o sciroppate, brzoskwin swierzych lub w syropie


mix the cream with sugar with the use of electric mixer unil the cream becomes dense. cut peaches in small pieces. spread the mixture on each of the meringue rings and add the peaches. put the cream and peaches (in a shape you like) also on the top of the cake. put the cake the fridge before serving.

sbattere la panna con lo zucchero con l'uso del mixer elettrico, fino a quando la panna non diventi densa. tagliare le pesche in piccoli pezzi. mettere la panna e le pesche su ciascun piano della torta, anche in alto (disponendo le pesche come volete). mettere in frigo prima di servire.

ubic smietane z cukrem za pomoca miksera az stanie sie gesta. pokroic brzoskwinie na male kawalki. posmarowac smietana i brzoskwiniami kazdy krazek bezowy, rowniez ostatni (rozkladajac brzoskwinie w dowolnym ksztalcie). wlozyc do lodowki przd podaniem.

That looks just delicious. I am going out to find meringue rings. Otherwise, my house is nice and dry, so I should be able to make a good meringue at home.
