unexpected flowers in my garden

the spring is still far away from here and the we are freezing in these days in milan (the temperatures this morning were below zero again!). anyways for some strange reason my city garden is blossoming... can you believe that? i don't even know the name of this beautiful plant (and to be honest i din't even know that it can blossom in such a beautiful way...). the most neglected and probably the oldest plant in my tiny city garden (it was already here when i moved to this appartement). this is a sign that this freezy winter will not last forever :)

***

Good morning Justyna,

What a lovely surprise to see flowers blooming in such cold weather! Looks like Spring isn't far away. It is still cold and rainy in East TN, USA. We still have more freezing and snow ahead of us here. Our weather usually begins to get warm in April.

Thank you for sharing your part of the world with us!

Beautiful blooms! Can't believe they are here this early too, and in such harsh temps! Love the pics of the cat and kittens. I miss having a kitty. They hubby and I both are ready for a kitty, but we need a bigger house first. The whole litter box deal is a mess! Good to hear from you again. I love visiting your blog.

So glad you have a hint of what beauty spring has to bring us! My poor flowers are all hidden under three feet of snow, so I am glad you shared yours with us. Amazing how plants can survive in such cold weather. Stay warm, my sweet friend!!!

This is a tough plant and those are the best to have. When I buy plants, I want a soldier like this one.
