last call for raspberries


the summer is already gone but sweet holiday memories are still in my head.. right now it’s the last moment to taste raspberries, very last raspberries of the season, smaller and even sweeter than those we ate in july and august. so don’t miss the possibility to get some, otherwise you will have to wait until next summer (or use frozen!). so today’s recipe is dedicated to raspberries, again raspberries (how many raspberry recipes have you already seen at love lives in the kitchen?), but i’m never tired to delight myself with these tiny and so heavenly tasty berries :)

l’estate è già finita ma io ho ancora in testa dolci ricordi delle vacanze… proprio adesso c’è l’ultima possibilità per gustare i lamponi, proprio gli ultimi lamponi della stagione, più piccoli e addirittura più dolci di quelli che si possono trovare in luglio e agosto. allora non fatevi scappare la possibilità di prenderli, altrimenti dovete aspettare la prossima estate (oppure accontentarvi di quelli surgelati!). per questo motivo la ricetta di oggi è dedicata ai lamponi, ancora lamponi (quante volte avete visto la ricetta con i lamponi su love lives in the kitchen?), ma io non mi stanco mai di gustare questi piccolini e divinamente deliziosi frutti rossi :)

lato juz dawno sie skonczylo ale ja mam ciagle w glowie slodkie wspomnienia z wakacji... wlasnie teraz jest ostatni moment by delektowac sie malinami, ostatnimi malinami tego sezonu, mniejszymi i nawet slodszymi niz te, do ktorych jestesmy przyzwyczajeni w lipcu i w sierpniu. wiec nie tratcie okazji by sie w nie zaopatrzyc, inaczej bedziecie musieli poczekac do nastepnego lata (lub ograniczyc sie do mrozonych!). dlatego dzisiejszy przepis jest poswiecony malinom, znowu malinom (ile razy widzieliscie przepis z malinami na love lives in the kitchen?), ale ja nigdy sie nie znudze smakiem tych malenkich i bosko smakujacych rozowych owocow lasu :)


what i propose you today is a simple chocolate brownie (with nuts or hazelnuts if you wish) with raspberry topping. you can find my brownie recipe here

quello che vi propongo oggi è un semplice brownie al cioccolato (anche con le nocciole o le noci se volete) con la salsa di lamponi. potete trovare la ricetta per il mio brownie qui

to co chcialabym wam dzisiaj zaproponowac to prosty brownie czekoladowy (z orzechami wloskimi lub laskowymi, jesli chcecie) z malinowym sosem. mozecie znalezc przepis na moj brownie tutaj



for the topping just whisk a handful of fresh raspberries (ca. 50g/1,8 oz.), 1 teaspoon of icing sugar and cook it all for 10 minutes on a small fire. leave for cooling and serve with cool brownie, some fresh raspberries on the top and icing sugar. a pink plate would be lovely (mine is a present from my dear friend dominos!).

per la salsa frullate semplicemnete una manciata di lamponi (ca. 50g/1,8 oz.), 1 cucchiaino di zucchero a velo e cuocete per 10 minuti su fuoco lento. lasciate raffreddare e servite con un brownie freddo, qualche lampone fresco e zucchero a velo spolverato. un piattino rosa sarebbe perfetto (io il mio l'ho ricevuto dalla mia cara amica dominos!).

na sos wezcie poprostu garsc swiezych malin (ok. 50g/1,8 oz.), lyzeczke cukru pudru i gotujcie przez 10 minut na malym ogniu. wystudzcie i podajcie z zimnym brownie, z kilkoma swiezymi malinami na wierzchu i posypane cukrem pudrem. rozowy talezyk bylby na te okazje najlepszy (ja moj dostalam od mojej kochanej przyjaciolki dominos!).

I can't believe that berry season is over...I want raspberries with a slice of brownie or cheesecake now. Thankfully, we do have some frozen organic berries in the fridge. I'm going to have to set them out to thaw tonight. Thank you for sharing. Another beautiful post!

we picked some raspberries last weekend and I think that was the end of it. Luckily we've got tons of them in the freezer to enjoy over the winter.
Oh, and I LOVE the plate in the first photo. So beautiful.
